The competition logo was inspired by the concept of the “basketball dance,” depicting two hands that symbolize both the body part most directly involved in basketball and the expressive movements of Spanish dance. Its colourful design, based on the FIBA logo palette, also pays tribute to the artistic legacy of Spanish painter Pablo Picasso.
