This dirkometrix commemorative mug was created as a tribute to the shooting training methods developed by Holger Geschwindner, mentor and coach of Dirk Nowitzki. Combining basketball, mathematics and physics, Geschwindner calculated the optimal shooting trajectory, concluding that a minimum entry angle of 32 degrees increased the margin for error while maintaining a successful shot. This scientific approach helped shape Nowitzki into one of the most accurate and influential players in basketball history.
