PHILIPPINES: SPIRIT OF HOSPITALITY AND PASSION FOR BASKETBALL

During the FIBA Basketball World Cup 2023, handcrafted basketballs decorated with Sampaguita, the national flower of the Philippines, adorned the reception areas of the official hotels. Visitors from around the world were welcomed with garlands and introduced to the meaning of the Tagalog word “Mabuhay,” a symbol of the hospitality and warmth for which the country is renowned.
